Allopurinol, Crestor, Losartan, Metoprolol, and Aspirin.
All these ailments were the main reason he agreed to this science experiment of mine. For breakfast, he had a plate of fruit with ground golden flaxseed and walnuts. Lunch consisted of large garden salad and more fruit. For dinner he had this green energy soup featured in the raw cookbook “Going Raw” by Judita Wignall.
Green Energy soup
2 cups water
5 leaves kale, stemmed and chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 tbsp lime juice
2-3 garlic cloves
1 tsp sea salt
Pinch ground cayenne pepper
1/2 -1 avocado
1 bell pepper diced for garnish
Diced red onion garnish
To prepare! Blend all the ingredients except garnish veges and the avocado in a vitamix or other high powered blender until smooth. Add the avocado. Blend again. Depending on how “creamy” you want your soup to be add more avocado. Garnish with onion and red bell pepper and serve! Keeps for one day in the fridge. Note: liquids work better in a blender than food processor. This recipe may need some tweaking as it looks awesome but may need ginger or 1 date blended in to balance the bitterness of the kale. You will sleep well at night if this is your dinner since your stomach won’t be busy digesting late at night. Unfortunately my dad still woke up the night he had this soup. But that is because he was at day 1 of his detox process. After day 2 his gout and arthritis have disappeared!!!!! Enjoy the journey!Print This Post
